Before the holidays Amelie became only the 2nd gir

Before the holidays Amelie became only the 2nd girls player in club history to reach 💯 YJAFC games and the first since 2007 (Danielle Silvester).
Part of the club since 2017, most years she has played across multiple age groups so we could begin to field all girls teams. She’s helped us get to where we are today as a club, with one of the highest female participation rates in the state.
Shout out to coaches Chappo, Taco & Helena for being instrumental in developing this young group of girls in those early days, we are happy to report there’s a number of similar big milestones to follow in quick succession from here.

Our June Devil of the Month recognises our Secretary, Under 15 Girls Age Group Coordinator, team manager and backbone of the Club, Kim Bridle.
Her hard work, dedication & organising skills are second to none.

A massive achievement for Harry & Josh on the weekend playing their 200th game for Yeronga. Well done boys. A kudos to your parents for approx 18000 hours of sideline game time!
For the club historians it’s been 13 years since someone last hit 200 junior games for the club (S.Fraser ‘09, F.Fraser ‘10 & C.Lyon ‘11).
